Thanks to all those who gave up their Sunday for the greater good of all the other track users.

We ended up with 27 workers, (10 walkers & 17 riders) 8 groups using 10 chain saws, 2 brush cutters and an amoury of hand tools to clear 13 different tracks throughout the wattagans. (we did have a few last minute cancellations but thanks anyway for at least offering at first.) also thanks to murph who worked extra hard on saturday so he could do the morning with us. Special mention for going above and beyond the call to the Null Team, who ran into complete devestation, they left jilliby at 8.00 and did not get back till 6.15, well after dark, a marathon effort. Also to one of the walking teams who made it back after 5pm.
Null is clear down to the river and is ridable after that, but still needs lots more work, be prepared for plenty of new detours. ( I copied their gps log and overlaid it on my ones.. it has changed a bit. So their is a challenge to Null riders, get down there with your saws and do a bit !!!

    Cheers Nick

Nick ran this like a military operation! There were whiteboards, printed maps and gps loops with teams allocated to different areas (cant imagine how much time you spent organising it). Maximum use of all who attended – awesome effort Nick!! B).

    Agreed Rach
    Well done Dr Nick. B)
    And thanks for the update.
I was pretty lucky with my section, nothing like some of you other boys had to deal with.
    Cheers
    Murph
