Hey speaking of European bikes,I have been geeing up the local Gas gas dealer to come for a ride with us, on one of the new GG’s, when you guys come up. You might want to scab a go?July 22, 2008 at 5:54 am #105675Gyday Mick! what days have you got planned for the ride you have organised for the Sydney Boys? I would love to come up for it being originally from Kempsey and all, as a side note my mate Rick (owner of Michelles Patisserie in Port) went for a ride on a couple of the dealers Gassers around the Wauchope bush just recently,He fell in love with the 300! (the 450 was good but had a sticky throttle problem) He also said the area was unreal bike riding terrain!!
cheers Ollie

Duncan mentioned August 15,16,17. Mate you are welcome to come with us for a blat.
I was gunna go to the Gas Gas ride day but decided to take my son up to the Green hills Speedway to watch the Akubra Classic instead.
We are pretty lucky to have such good riding at our back door. There are thousands of miles of tracks around here and I have only just scratched the surface. It would take a life time to ride them all.July 22, 2008 at 8:00 am #105678Cheers thanks for that Mick, unfortunatley Im currently down to keep a duty on the Sunday  ,I will have to see if I can change it.
Ahhhh the old Akubra classic,I have done many laps around that circuit!! My father once owned the Sawmill that was on the Speedway property,I use to ride there every afternoon for years after school cutting laps on a yz80,they also had a scrambles track down the bottom near the creek, great fun times
The speedway track used to be oiled,I dont know if it still is? in this environmentally correct new age.Ollie

July 22, 2008 at 11:15 am #105645Cool man. Ride was a hoot. You have seriously got to get your arse up to Kundabung for run, the trails are shit hot. We stash fuel out in the bush so we can do up to 200km in a day although 100-150 is more the norm. We are going to do some 2 day rides when the wheather warms up. Hoping to get through to Yuodales Hut. Just have to find the best way around Mt Banda Banda.

Yeah it is still oil and looks like fun!!! I had never been there before, my son and I rode up on the KTM990 ADV and had a ball but it pissed down at lunch time and they called the meeting off. We then rode home in the rain and my son still goes on about how good a day it was.

Its Richie with his noisy 2 banger with recluse clutch giving Heartbreak hill a go at Sunny corner (one of the hardest ever) took me and Richie 1 hour to get one day neally died. Few try it because it sucks. (for unfit blokes like me):laugh:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Hyvq0-Ry5E
