Ok,
After the recent trip to Louee & my infamous blunder on the BLACK LOOP
I went out today & grabbed the new bars I needed,,, TB has been onto me for ages to replace the stockish bars, or at least get some risers
So, here are some pics from today`s little exercise
A tad bent

Stripped ready to go

New bars etc ready to go on

Clamps on
October 3, 2009 at 4:58 am #155020New bars in place

ALmost done

All better now

And some BLING

Now to sort the Bark Busters, as they are a bit knocked around as well
So I need to source some Fat Bar clamps to attach the old ones to the new bars, or maybe IF I`m lucky, I might get some new ones that fit better ???Here`s Hoping for tomorrow
Cheers All

You can buy the taper clamps for Bark Busters seperately but I dont know about the other brands if they’re not real Bark Busters. It will be like a new bike again after the old bent bars and standing up will be much better too.

October 3, 2009 at 7:48 am #155021Cheers Boyz,
I always said I`d hang out till I bent or broke the old bars TB

I have seen the tapered Clamp kits, I am going to a shop tomorrow while in town for a look.
I thought the Triple Clamp mounts might be a bit weird ???TB,I now have your spare clamp tucked away to get to Dan, with the dvd`s I have promised him

Thanx again for the loan
Hopefully I will have it sorted for the Watto`s next week.
Cheers

Some members expressed thoughts that they seem to be a bit too large, but I find em to be fine.Depends on your hand size I guess,,,
They are plenty soft & grippy and supposed to eliminate fatigue
I don`t go hard enough to get fatigued anyway  Cheers
