    As I explained on the phone we need to measure the clearances before we shim or find out if it even needs shimming and then what shims we need.     I know I have to get the shims and I know I have to measure the clearances first but as discussed on the phone I was going to get you to do the shims and measure the clearnces myself (like you say assuming they do need to be done).

    Now, that doesn’t mean to say it would be this weekend, I meant whenever. Although now the trailer thing is happening I can still bring the bike down and you can check the valves and save me doing that too :) If they need shimming it will either have to go inti the shop or you can do it at another convenient date (louee :laugh:)….

    Christ, anyone would think you’re doing this for free the way you’re acting! :laugh:

    Eagles for nothing, anything for Dan and Mick or anyone on the site, but nothing for free for you Moto :laugh:

    Beagle I have a barrel, piston and spares from Chris’s KLX that have only done about 300kms should we find anything we hadn’t expected

    Commuter is back on the road!!!!

    Nowhere near as bad I first suspected :)

    Would ya believe an “O” Ring on the Cam Chain adjuster would leak that much oil :dry: :blush:
    30cent part :huh: :unsure: :blink: :blush: :blush: :blush: :blush: :silly:

    MY BAD :laugh:

    Got to check valve clearances etc & at least they are spot on after 15,278ks ;) ;) ;)

    Thanx anyway to TB for the help & Dan & KylieD for the use of the PITS ;)
