just watched round one of super x

it took six laps to move the the hurt rider while racing under yellowhow about a red flag if it was myself or my daughter i would want to see that flag not riders passing me lap after lap
poor choice super x

October 16, 2010 at 8:07 pm #189014Disgusting I say, they definately need to get that one sorted!
October 17, 2010 at 12:00 am #189015It might have looked like chaos on the telly, but I thought they handled the situation very well
Happened right in front of me on the finish line jump, he was very lucky no-one was close behind because he was cactus and couldn’t move. They put the yellow flag out, along with the ambulance flag, they also barricaded the guy and had the riders riding “sinlge track” around him.
btw Chad Reed…., the guy is a freak, he makes it look too easy.

Agree with all points. Was right in front of me also.

October 17, 2010 at 8:44 am #189027I didn’t think reed was riding, what about the epstein barr virus, good for aussie super x him being out here.
October 17, 2010 at 9:08 am #189016There was no chance of Reedy missing his home track event :woohoo:
He has however, pulled out of the entire Aussie series because of his illness, and returned to the States to rebuild his ststus & work on the new ride partnership with Honda,,,
October 17, 2010 at 10:15 am #189040I loved the coverage last night.
Reed killed it but we are in for a good series. Thought Alessi would have gone better and it will be epic to see him and Villopoto bang bars.
I thought the two strokes in the Lites class would have been quicker off the line but the 4 bangers smashed them!STM
October 17, 2010 at 6:33 pm #189045are the two strokes 250s as well or 150?

October 17, 2010 at 8:33 pm #189052i still feel that a first conrer crash should result in a red flag 6 laps of a yellow flagged can hinder your chanes to progress through the pack if that is the section you favour

Same old same old, 144cc V 250cc… somehow seems really fair doesn’t it?
Big call in the states for parity capacity racing again.
Glad Chad made it to the Newy SuperX, it is his hometown event after all.
October 17, 2010 at 11:58 pm #189064The parity cc thing is an issue in the 85cc class too.
We have 85cc 2t’s racing against those 150cc 4t CRF150R weapons.
October 18, 2010 at 12:20 am #189065Hope that young fella who crashed on the finish line jump is OK
We were there too and it did look pretty nasty
Cheers
MurphOctober 18, 2010 at 1:58 am #189017Being a spectator I did’nt think it seemed too bad Tramo. I see what ya sayin though. Once the riders passed the injured rider they were on the gas and hookin in again.
