Tramo, my sons KX85 has had a few buck spent on it to bring it up to speed with the 150’s but nothing like $23,000!!
Engine and suspension work to the combined value of about $1500 and it now rips.
October 18, 2010 at 5:24 am #189075not to mention names mick but the same girl now has a 250f and the engine alone had 15,000 spent on it
my girls bike has head work and shocks done
and i got her a full system wich took her from 32hp to 40.5hp
and the money bags bike hauls arse past my kids down the straightsas they say no dough no go

From the riders point view maybe, it would have been frustrating.
October 23, 2010 at 10:48 am #189089Watching tonight SX Lites race and the two strokes are 250’s.
STM
October 23, 2010 at 10:50 am #189442So thats 250 2strokes against 250 4strokes Scott?
October 23, 2010 at 10:56 am #189443That is what the commentators are saying.
October 23, 2010 at 11:03 am #189444Well who won the 4’s or 2’s? The same cc the smokers would kick arse
October 23, 2010 at 11:04 am #189445stm i heard the same comment wich i find odd as the gcr’s state that 125 2strokes run against the 250 fours
tramo
October 23, 2010 at 11:06 am #189446four strokes
moss won all threetramo
October 23, 2010 at 11:19 am #189448Remenicing maybe?
But, bring back the Jap two strokes and make the compitition real again
As a kid (way before I ever rode) my dad used to take me to motocross events. I’m sure there used to be a track at Mulbring (spellin?) Just the other side of the gap heading towards “Neknock”. Always loved the smell of 2T. In my early life there was nothing like it. Nearly all the crossers were 2t’s in that era
2 cents worth
Cheers
MurphOctober 23, 2010 at 11:20 am #189449Moss took em all but I thought they said that 250 four and two stroke now raced together.

October 23, 2010 at 11:27 am #189452Hey STM
We were there and I can honestly say that out of every 15 riders there might of been 1 2T
Not sure if the mingled the classes or not as I was too tight to buy a guide on the night.
One thing was for sure it was bloody freezing.
Cheers
Murph going cold turkey due to lack of surfingOctober 23, 2010 at 11:36 am #189467add me bring back the 2strokes
give them there own classOctober 23, 2010 at 11:56 am #189470Hey Tramo 141
Being a surfy dude I was a little late getting into it, bought my first bike DT175 in the early 80’s. Had to get a mate to ride it home from the shop as I had no idea how to ride a bike.
Made up for it pretty quick and within a few months I was riding an IT465 then onto a 490 which had smoother power but far more advanced handling. RRRRRR those were the daysOctober 23, 2010 at 1:08 pm #189471i got my first bike at the tender age of 20
it cost me $500 and it was a 1976 rm 125
within two weeks i had worked out how to get the front wheel up
bad misteak as the top and bottom fork tubes seperated heading up my driveway at 60kmph putting me into the ground knee first
will post pics at a later date
but got back on the old girl and still love my 2 bangers currently looking for a 125 for my daughter to play on (and me)maybe not as oldtramo
