Swingarm bolt

Hi Everyone,

I’m looking for a replacement swingarm bolt for my wr450 , went to change the bearings and couldnt get the bolt out the bugger was siezed :ohmy: ended up having to cut it out and now I need another, did’nt fancy paying $120 at my local dealer so thought someone must have one lying around their shed ?

same thing happened to my 04 WR450 I reckon they need to be pulled and never siezed every 6 months at least. The swing arm bearings are a bitch as well.

Try Ebay USA or some wreckers Mike.Best of luck.

Thanks Ollie, I can get one on ebay from the states but was trying to get one locally, tried a couple of wreckers in Brissy but no luck, was hoping for a ride this weekend as well…

Here is the formula you need to use to make your decision Mike. You take the eBay price and subtract it from the local price. The number you are left with determines how keen you are to ride this weekend. :laugh:

the trick is us a wire brush and always clean swingarm bolt and put some grease and some maintenance and you wont have any trouble you have learn t the hard way
