That looks like the go I will be getting one of them for this trip.$185.00 is cheeaper than a big tank for the narny.
Where will the ride start as I will do the whole ride not just half…

Anonymousi think i still may be short of 200klm
i don’t think the tm designers had this trip mind during the design brief
i also think if i had a new bike by then. it would be another tm300. and i would definatly still have the nx then too
the honda nifty 50s, vespa, thumpstar and elsinore are not suited as well.

Having ridden to Qld and back recently on a beemer you appear to have the expertise to answer…
Well heres the rub – is a big beemer too big for this excursion – it passes the fuel test but I an thinking may be too big for some of the single tracks ? Having ridden to Qld and back what do you think ? To recap the bike is a 1200 240kg sometimes referred to as pigs…
On looking at past trips some tracks are a definite no [around the watagans for example] versus others like the zig zag to hillend ride seem more doable [based on the pictures and my limited past expereinec ?].
Anyway what do you think ?

AnonymousIf TB isn’t game to take the NX Craig I don’t think you’d get the big girl through some of the sections. Maybe you could tow the trailer with the 1200 instead  Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
As the ride and route unfolds it might be possible for you to bypass the harder sections and re-join. Just an idea, I have no idea where the hell he is planning to go…..

Craig I am sure you can travel some of the fire trails and dirt roads we will travel and meet us at the overnight stops wherever they are.
I will be organising and booking the accommodation for the 14 of the main group before posting them all up, but all the places we stay will have multiple accommodation places I think. I will post if I think the route is ok for you and you can navigate your own route to the next night, Aidan would have to be keen wouldnt he?
