Ha ha I have it coming, it will be a great pre run trail clearing bike. Funny it has more go than that WR you had

I certainly hope that a brand new bike has more poke than a ten year old with an original top end.

I should have explained what I meant sorry Scott. I was surprised a stock trail bike with a stock exhaust all the restrictors, a catalytic convertor and 3.2kms went so well ;) Your old one was in really good condition for its age a credit to you. It never seemed worn out but so gutless  Maybe it was hoping straight from the 650 because we remember your response to riding that

Doesn’t matter now but your all red  ;)

I had a look at one of those the other day for the young bloke $4k with only 1600 k’s on the clock. By the time I convinced him he should get this instead of a DRZ400 (like all his mates have ) it was gone :(

I reckon they are a good thing just need yamaha to bring em out in a 400 ;)

OK I must be getting old
    But not Adventure Old???????????????????????????????????
The boys had a ramp set up on the end of our local jetty this mornin
Watched a few boys hit it
Not for me, on the silly little 20″ frame
OK I used to be able to wheel stand that size bike for ever when I was a kid

The gear ratio was way to low, but I am sure we can fix that
May need to build a 26″ with high gearing, just to hit it 👿 👿 👿 :pinch: B)
Not shore where this post belongs
Oh, I have it now ;)

Another WR has now been added to the shed, this one a WR250F. We have 3 WRs here now :P My step son Lochie has been working like a machine. Between lawns and Teknik’s he has been doing a good job. Andy29 advertised it here on OBT and I travelled up and spent his money  . He stripped it back, cleaned it up and spent more money. I have just finished screwing it together for him as he is away until we go to Goanna tracks. He has put a set of YZ plastics on it, had the suspension done, new tyres, new radiators, grips, arkbusters, bash plate, brake pads, new brake fluid, front disc brake cover, steering head bearings, headlight assembly and wheel bearings. He has a custom sticker kit ordered through Tekniks but won’t turn up before we go. He fitted the small race tank and Staintune exhaust that came with the bike in the box of spares. Thanks to Tekniks, Sutto’s and Ballards for helping source and supply parts. And thanks Andy

    Recognise this bike Andy?

Should get him an MA licence and come and do some club days with OBMCC, its not super competitive or pressure unless you want it to be and with less and less places to ride its just another good option to go for a ride.

That actually a good idea LC, he is keen to do some short and long track but hey I will talk with him. What are you doing down there, sprints or ?

Sprints, pony express, cross countries sometimes and grass track motocross.

There is even an endurocross race at the end of the year.

Wouldnt mind having a go at long track or dirt track myself

    Wrong Wrong Wrong.
Racing equates to speed = injury
Gear it down a little and lets go
    See how the rabbit runs.
TB, he will no doubt follow your path for a while.
    Then it is up to Lochie, to find his own way. :woohoo: :woohoo: 👿 :pinch: B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B) B)
    Cheers
