Pretty good for $550 mate. It certainly sounds like you’re happy with it.

If it’s running hot it’s running lean so make sure you rejet it before you drop a piston.

You can also play with your fuel screw to make the mixture more rich too.

    DONE!
The klx has been kx’ed well it almost seems that way,

Got the new main jet(thanks moto) and needle in then. ( ollies recomendation )added a flex fuel screw (what a handy lil gadget)
the fuel screw was a great idea especially living near the ridges as the alt. changes so quick
    Thanks fellas for your pointers
Its now the cracker i wanted,

btw T4 slipped neatly over powerbomb headder so some changes to the clamp are needed (no biggie) well that was the problem the clamp was to biggie .lol:silly:

If the clamp is slightly too big and doesn’t pull tight on full adjustment, you can shim it out a bit by putting strips of aluminium can or I have even used aluminium foil, folded into as many layers as necessary. Wrap the strips or foil around the muffler pipe to increase it’s diameter slightly. The clamp can then pull tight onto the header.

There is no need for any type of sealant using this method, but you have nothing to loose by using some high temp silicone. Both these methods work fine. Trust me on this, as I have had just a few different exhaust sytems on my bike. :)
