    Just got back into the office and this email came through to me

    Greg from Pilliga called and said that for your bike ride on the 25th he will have fuel for you. He also said that you can go Pilliga straight to Boggabri, but you might need to get a recently updated map because he’s not sure where to go from the Newell Highway to Boggabri.
    If you need anything else, he said you can just call him again.

    aint that nice?rool nice people out there in the bush :)

    Getting excited now, the bikes been preped just gotta sort the bags out and whooshga I ‘m outer here.

    Thanks to Techniks for looking after me. TBs’ been wanting me to do that for years, he’s been sick looking at the bike dragging its arse and mine:P around.

    I spent the afternoon going over the Tenere making sure all was good for this ride. I fitted a new power socket for chargers. Fitted my racks ( top job Jason they are solid now!!). 
    I fitted some road tyres for the run to wauchope and will be changing to a Dunlop 606 rear and Michelin Desert front before we leave for Tamworth. 

    I used the tyre changer I bought from Suttos and it really is a good bit of gear and made the tyre change very easy.

    We will no longer be going to Colly as there is no fuel (thanks Trev).Rout has been changed abit.We will be in Qld for a bit more than originally thought.See first post.Max fuel range maybe about 300 km.Might be advisable to bring a 5 lt fuel can if your nervious…i am :P
    Black opal tour has been booked for 1.30 pm Friday……and we get tea and scones!!!

    Will be go for launch here on Tuesday early, hooking up with Chicken at the Bong. Have a nice little 480kms adventure planned (will be with the rivers up :laugh: ) to Wauchope meeting Nick there. We will be off roading to Tamworth via Nundle to your place Wednesday arvo Bolls

    On the second day we will be goung through Cubbie Station.The biggest privatley owned irrigation property in the southern hemisphere !!!!
    just spoke to a fella with a truck company in Hebel and he reckons no worries about getting through Cubbie…allthough he reckons they are wankers and they think they own the road :P ..Oldbulls are about to take ownage :woohoo:
