Well day 1 is done and dusted.
Thanks to mick, tripper, moose and peter for showing up.
We set out from the pub around 8.30 and went out to loops one where we started on good friday trail and the boys soon learnt that our single tracks do have a lot of run off area if needs be and have long hills that just keep going (some one did comment that they thought they were climbing to hevan) with some real fast sections and some nice free flowing hills i think loop one was a bit of a hit till we dropped over the edge of a track which is step rocking and wouldn’t be fun if we were going up. i think it was tripper that decied that his xr looked better laying on the road rather then riding down it.
The buddy system was working great up till the lead rider   got a little to far ahead of the big XR’s and we lost each other for a few minutes (sorry guys)after we found each other and looked at the time we thought the pub for lunch to get out of the heat would be a good idea. After a meal at the pub and a few “soft drinks” we fueled up and headed back out.Unfortuanlly we got about 2k’s out from the pub and the mighty KLX spluttered and back fired and stopped dead. Lucky Mick was there and took to my bike and pulled the plug out of my carb and cleaned it out and away she went :woohoo: we went along some real rutted trails as we headed to what the locals call the double snotters and we rode down them so the guys can see what there like before heading onto the lookout. Before we got there i stopped for a photo shoot going through the creek crossing. so as i was packing up my camera i found peter laying in the creek like his body had just washed up LOL. We head up to the lookout from here on one of my fav single trails which is fast, slow, rocking, washed out and a load of fun.
After a pitstop and to take in the view we headed back to the snotters every one was asked if we go around or up and not one was in favour of up. Mick told me he was getting cramps and said “you try riding one of these bikes up” so i said “OK” i jumped on to the beast and was warned it was going to bite pppffffttt that lounge chair of a tractor and i chugged to the top like nothing else and my view of the 650 pig was so much different
we then headed around the snotters on a fast free flowing fire trail and had LOTS of fun doing that with power slides and huge down hill jumps along the way.Day 2 we come later along with the photos of the day.
never written a ride report sorry hope i didn’t bore this shit out of you

I wasn`t being sarcastic at all mate, sorry if it came across that wayI was only applauding Corey for sticking to his plan & going ahead with the ride. I know he was a bit hesitant to run it when his mate & leader pulled the pin early
Sounds like they had an absoute ball yesterday & will have another again today with those Big XR`s chasing all day  Mick & Moose on Ol` Burple will go anywhere I tell a
