July 17, 2011 at 11:21 am #204915Bud lite is lite, it’s like riding a DR and saying you have a dirt bike. Hmmm, there you go again TB, bagging the all mighty DR yet again.
At least I own a Harley as well and don’t have to RENT one
Enjoy.

you know I like the DRs like Boony and Snow like the idea of ADV riding but won’t admit it  I thought they would have bitten
The Harley ride had to be put off today anyway cause of two major bike related purchases made yesterday and today
I am still looking forward to taking yours out as is Salina

July 17, 2011 at 12:16 pm #204945Been out road tripping today, these school buses are everywhere on week days. I have always wondered why they have never changed. They look the same old bus they have always been. Well today I found out they keep the same colour and shape so everyone knows they are a school bus. They build them new, all the latest running gear and engines retain the design, interesting
Drove around looked at some of the old wooden bridges built in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. We wondered why they are covered in, we can only think it’s sooty horses couldn’t see the drop into the river and didn’t spook
We saw this pick truck outside a church, rednecks
Cummins powered
Check the exhausts
Went to the thirty six Saloon bar and grill for lunch, tried a couple of Miller beers, still no Bundy
Seen bloody snow ploughs everywhere, new ones on the lots, like you can buy a new pick up with a plough attachment  You see them everywhere
Everything seems legal, like a Baja style buggy driving around legal like, followed this one past a county police radar setup

but the bling alloy parts that I cant buy in Aus started arriving today but
Check some off this stuff out
Billet chain guide
Billet sprocket cover
Billet shark fin
Oh and I checked out a bike shop ware house today after work and bought some stuff, surprisingly not cheaper than Suttos if I had to pay freight.
Oh and a braided rear line
Was interesting to check the prices out in the flesh, tyres are about $8 to $15 cheaper for 18 inch rears

Had some trouble getting through security cause I have my piston, rod and crank kit in my cabin bag  ol mate with the blue gloves started coming towards me I shat myself. Had to pull it all apart and strip all the kits to make sure it couldn’t be put together on the plane and made into a gun
Will have to go through that again at Dallas and LA possibly :pinch:
