you had a perfectly good DT 200 2 stroke, it just needed off road tyres….
610 husky would make a good boat anchor…

by the sounds of it whanny, it’s just a few small things that have taken the shine off the whole experience.

from memory the huskys were prone to a flimsy stand.

what’s it like to ride being EFI and all??

when its running it is quite the beast its awesome i love it i no it has a big enginge and wat not but i still find its not the knida bike a beginer cant ride its a bit tall though and takes a while to wind up but it had good mid range power and climbs hill easy. i’m sure that their not all like this but thought i would post up and see what people had to say about them

That’s pretty bad luck I would say. I never owned one but had a good friend with a 2000 model back when. It was very reliable. Maybe after 10 years things have changed?

I rode one up a snotty hill at Nundle for a bloke and it was cool. Surprisingly low seat height, loads of torque regardless of revs, and a instrument panel taken off the Starship Voyager.:cheer: It looked cool too. Just the right machine for some open trails and the occasional blat out to Camerons and back. Yeah not as nimble as the DT200 or WR 450, but these bikes would not like the extended road riding you get up to either Whanny. Sound like shes just getting to know you and when she does it will be a match made in heaven just wait. Also You wont have to rush out and buy a new one soon cause that one will run forever if you keep the services up to it .;)

How many Ks are on it now. Certainly had a few dramas with it you might have to sell it and go back to the original plan DT 200R.

get yourself a length of rope and a nice boat then use the bike as an anchor. ps seeing it’s you Wanny don’t forget to tie the rope onto the bike and boat
