    Yeah I suppose you are right there XY, it is that not many people know about the 650L in Australia.I have only ever seen one myself.
    The point I was making was that there is a huge difference between the NX and the XR650R.

    you’re not wrong mick! i test rode an XR 650L (the local Honda shop’s mechanic’s, the dealer said the XR WAS the ONLY bike for me :dry: )……. and i thought if this is Honda’s big bore flag ship :huh: …….. well needless to say i bought the LC4 640

    At last you have woken up to yourself Kram you can forget its a Honda but the fact that it is will see you through for many a mile it may 20 years older than your sewing machine, but it will be going long after the sewing machine is dead mark my words ;)

    I did and I’d do it again. She’s a great old girl.

    She’ll only out last the Husky coz she’ll only go on a couple a rides a year :blush:

    I must admit they look like seeing double, just need some OB stickers and you could try and ride off on the wrong bike. :cheer:

    I used to like my NX650 which was a later model but I was always partial to the older red model with the Gold rims. :silly:
