Hi all, Have had a quick look around for a screen topic for Tenere’s, but seeing I am at work at the moment
cant spend too much time looking  Have just joined the site and have no doubt the subject has been covered. Wouldnt mind a little more cover from the wind and elements without it looking too poxy though….any suggestions on experiences?? Ta Darryl.November 2, 2012 at 12:16 am #231857Hi mate, I purchased mine from the below link, check their site out. There is a local making them now in Melbourne I think. Peters screens or something  My one from off the road has been great and continues to be, has done 46000kms

November 9, 2012 at 3:58 am #231858Mine is an Off the road one and cos I am tall, I got the slightly taller than standard one. Its awesome. Means I can run MX helmet and wind still goes over the top. Good investment.
November 9, 2012 at 6:08 am #232219I’ll keep an eye on this thread as a mate from work has just bought a wind deflector that is to be attatched to his screen on his 1200
Depending on whether that works, he will be looking at a larger screen
Cheers
MurphNovember 9, 2012 at 7:49 am #232223I had the taller off the road one but smashed it a couple of weeks ago
and I put the standard one back on, then did a 2 day ride, all I can say is that I will order another one from off the road ASAP.
I rate the taller one.PTW
November 9, 2012 at 10:48 am #231859Thanks Pete, I am looking at a little more cover from the breeze and elements on the longer road legs. I have been checking out various web sites, but there is nothing like a recommendation from someone that has tried these different screens. Nothing worse than forking out dollars and then being disappointed in the result
Any info is much appreciated. Thats the beauty of being a member of this website.
Darryl.November 9, 2012 at 10:51 am #232236Forgot to add I’m 6’2 and it is a little tiresome dipping the head outa the wind over numerous kays if you dont have to mate.
November 9, 2012 at 11:03 am #232237If I pull my finger out and have one before you get yours, you are welcome to wack it on your bike and see how it goes.

November 9, 2012 at 11:29 am #232240Thanks Pete. Please let me know how you go mate, as I will ride down and check it out. Sick of getting of the bike like a half shut pocket knife crouched behind the current screen. I am using a RJays Dakar helmet which I have no complaints about apart from really windy days
November 10, 2012 at 10:47 am #232244One thing I forgot to mention, buy a clear taller screen, not the darkened “smoke grey” one. It is a bit too dark to see clearly through especially in shadows where the rocks hide!!!
Riders over 6 foot should all have a tall screen I reckon.
Cheers Gus.November 10, 2012 at 11:32 am #232286I have 48k with the smoked one and it hasn’t been to bad as far as not seeing stuff thus far
was something I was worried about at first but has been good would get anotherTB
