    Hey OB’s,
Picked up my Tenere’ yesterday. It’s in pristine condition & I’m aching to start adding the bits & pieces I’ve got on order – hurry up parcel delivery man!!
Can anyone give me the heads up on the best way of reducing the length of the number plate extension? Preferably something that is a bolt on as I’m not the most mechanically gifted individual as you will soon learn by my continued questions!!
    Thanks in advance,
    Sneaky.

Hey Sneaky I can take some pics tomorrow to show and tell what I have done to my 3 Teneres. I haven’t ever had a problem

As promised although delayed as I have been busy

First cut the tail off under the number plate light, and turn the number plate around so the light shines up

    Then remount your number plate

Underside view, nothing in there to hurt when you drill etc

I also fit the Yamaha LED blinker kit as the standard blinkers break the storks without crashing if you ride the bike off road at pace it seems with the amount I have seen broken when the punter hasn’t crashed. The LEDs are also brighter for safety

Go to your Yamaha shop with

    YME – W0789 – 20 – 00

    Easy to fit
