Where – Teralba to Colo Heights

    Date – 29 August 2009

    Grade – 3 to 4

Distance – about 170km each way

We will be running a ride from my place to Colo Heights which will take in a bit of the Dr Jurds trip from last weekend – The Teralba to Watagans leg, then onto Laguna, through Yango to Putty Road then onto Howes Valley then riding a new track to Colo Heights for lunch. After lunch we will turn around and do it in reverse.

It will be a mix of open, fast twin, soft sand and some technical single trails.

The ride will be capped at a MAXIMUM of 10 riders.

Details of fuel availability will be posted tomorrow, so it may be possible for those with smaller tanks to do it as well but that will depend if fuel is available at the Half Way House on the Putty Road.

    4.Boulder

I was sort of thinking that you would be the dust free rider if you would like to.

Anyway what would a ride be without you up the front?

And yeah the “A track” how sweet is that?

Big ride – yes it is. Mind over matter though and that sweet sense of achievement at the end.

Maybe I should of called this ride half-a longest day out?

OK the servo at Howes Valley is a no go, so after some rethinking this is how it will work. You will be able to refuel at Laguna and then its 134kms to the lunch stop and refuel. Chicken, Dan, Boulder and I will all have big tanks for people to grab fuel to get through, so that opens it up for you Wikdbeemer its all good

    Yeah that sounds fair Boulder.

If Kylie runs out of fuel I am willing to take payment in kind

This will be an excellent ride people, don’t let the distance scare you off. It’s all mind over matter.

Ha Ha funny boy – I just told the bloke at Laguna on Sunday that you were a special needs case and he understood why you are how you are :P .

Why don’t you come for another ride with us next weekend? It’s only 3.5 hours away.
