Quote:6:30am WTF!! I wouldn’t mind seeing the A track. I have to be frank though (as opposed to Steve) is this going to be loads of fireroad stuff?340K’s in one day without much firetrail will see you having to move quite quickly to get through it…….
Oh, come on Moto! If I am not worried about it then you definetly don’t need to worry. It will be a great day. I might be a zombie by the end of it but that’s nothing to worry about.
BTW what happened to the 6am start TB?
August 20, 2009 at 3:10 am #149171I will be 100% honest, I dont think this ride is your cuppa tea Moto, its like the Zig Zag to Orange ride but has some more tighter sections in it, but still having ridden with you I dont think you would be 100% happy mate
You know I like having you on a ride but sorry its my opinion from experience

AnonymousI’m not worried about the distance from a physical point of view Kylie, more that to cover that distance means riding more open style firetrails/trails which I’m not so keen on
And the 6am starts not helping!!!

Look to complete my honesty, Moto I couldnt stand your whinging like on the Orange ride    , this one is so much better but it like any ride that doesnt go around and around in circles (not that there is anything wrong with that) has to have transports doesn’t it? And besides Boulder will smack you out if you whinge like on the Orange ride
Sorry you not coming, you would enjoy it in spite of yourself lol its the best series of tracks with just enough rest between awesome sections

AnonymousEveryone has their own preferences, I know mine
And I was whining at Orange because I had bike trouble not because of the ride. I’ve heard several comments about recent rides you’ve done stating there was too much ‘firetrail/bitchumin’ stuff. It’s horses for courses, you of all people should respect that.
I was merely enquiry so I didn’t come on the ride and have to moan
Again, cheers for the heads up.
August 20, 2009 at 4:07 am #149195No probs was only joking about the whinging, know it was your forks that caused the trouble as I tried to help fix them and they sucked hard core
I have to take the “I’ve heard several comments about recent rides you’ve done stating there was too much ‘firetrail/bitchumin’ stuff” as I have only been running major rides, hillend, caves to caves, jurds etc for large groups with a wide skill range and its hard to please everyone. Funny how those that said something and it wasnt to me about the jurds ride are the ones we did it for
As I said before would be good to have you along but I know where you heart is as far as rides go ya gay mole bag
TB
August 20, 2009 at 5:06 am #148796I think Moto would love this ride, the longer sections are good and it would be good to see ya on the A track Moto.

AnonymousDon’t be a homo Moto get out and try something different. You might find you like the long rides. I wasn’t keen on them to start with but I really enjoy them now.

AnonymousDan I’ve done enough of them to know I’m not keen mate:) I did the 2 day ride to Orange remember, I also did the run the Hillend on our A4DE ride and the Caves ride, not to mention others.
Cheers anyway though

It is a combination of all rides that TB has ran this year. Definately a ride where every gear gets used and every part of your body, including the grey matter.
August 21, 2009 at 9:28 am #149170Sorry boys and girl I’m out. There is a spot for some one else to what is going tobe a great ride . enjoy!!!!!
