    Wow what a weekend, it’s now a blur but with all the mayhem that was the weekend for me, I was remiss in saying thanks to the whole OBT crew for your efforts over the whole weekend. I will write some more in the next few days on the event itself but without the help of the sweeps, the event would have turned uglier than Julia having lunch with some coal miners. The course was technical and that was on purpose, it was a State Title event so for you blokes to put in the two days that you did is a credit to you. I’m just sorry that I couldn’t spend more time around the camp fire, walking the course at 4.30am seemed a much better option!
    Great weekend, great feedback all round. Thanks to all the OBT who gave their time and energy to make it all happen. Speaking of energy, after pulling out pegs and bunting all day…. I’m done. Thanks to all, regards Protty

    Hey Protty,
    Thanks for a great weekend. We all had a great time and the tracks that you cut in were awesome. You had a great property to work with at Seaview and thanks to the property owner, I think it was Ralph, to allow you to put this fantastic event on in the Wauchope region. Hopefully with more events to come. ;) The amount of work that you put in to get this event on was amazing and I hope that it was successful for you and you are able to continue, without the interuption of minority groups…. :dry:

    Congrats on the event, it was very well run from those I spoke to that competed. Hope the greeny situation didn’t cause too much of a concern, but I’m sure you would have been used to dealing with idiots, from your time at another Mount ;)

    Yeah Protty, what Lefty said is my sentiments exactly! I know what you went through. The adversity that you over came and the other silly things that went wrong for you leading up to the event, would send a normal bloke around the twist. Your resilience is a credit to you.
    Thanks for offering OBT the opportunity to do the Sweeping of what turned out to be an awesome event. As you can see by the reports, the boys had a great time.
    If there is a next time, we would love to help you out again.
