Hey Bill ,a short note to say thanks for what was a great day!!
The kids had an awesome time and so did I!! Those trails we did today would have to be the best trails I have done EVER!! The conditions and company were fantastic!!! Can’t wait to get up there again. Mate you have the world at your feet with the set up and the trails you have there.
I will do a report later.
Cheers
MickApril 18, 2009 at 11:05 pm #129693Bull, You watch how many new friends you will now have:)
The boys loved it the Bill we will more than likely come back today, I want to sort the new bikes a little more before race day next week, I will ring you later:)
Mick and Moose your boys were going off, the track conditions have got better and better at the Ranch, even though it was your first time there I am sure all of the boys riding has got better for it.
I think the Moose camp is up for some new bikes seeing as how good both riders(both on 85cc at the moment) looked when punting that YZ 125 around, Sorry Mate get the wallet ready, its a coming my man.
mthickett, I think you could have done that gap jump yesterday on your ear mate, and I dont mean falling on your ear, I think if we could get there one day for 5 mins with no other bikes around you would be laughing at how easy it is, and if it makes you feel better about this wanker talking it but not doing it, I will even bring Betty and show you how,(although I may have to get Mick to give me a lesson before hand as he is a much better rider than me;)), I wont bring it up again as I dont want to upset your applecart and stick my nose in where it is not wanted:( but the offer is there and the ball is in your court now Bud, hope I can help some time.
Thanks all I had a great day, Hey Mick you should have stayed for the big boys ride, I went back after lunch and went for a blast with Bull and a few others, Bull why were you going so slow, after smashing me the last ride you do this, I think you are messing with my mind, but thats another story.
Lastly I cant believe the Flat Tyre curse, I ride Bulls doctor from the shed to the track, Via the sprint track, and I get a flat tyre, whats the deal man, am I never to ride with inflated round black things:blink:
April 18, 2009 at 11:11 pm #129694No problems Mick it is good to see 7 85cc bikes on my track all with big grins and having a good time
the Rat came back with Black Betty and some boys from port and we did the same loop in the arvo thanks to all for a realy good day of bike riding, now to do it all again today hope Moose can ride next time out in the bush but someone had to look after the boys at the track while we were out in the bushApril 18, 2009 at 11:21 pm #129704Rat you said it you have no mind to stuff with
one of Moose’s boys was realy quick in the sprint tracks couldnt shake him off the back tyreApril 18, 2009 at 11:35 pm #129705My back is telling me that XR600’s aren’t meant for MX tracks. Man that was fun though. See pigs can fly!!! See the big red pig jump the gap jump??? Nose down, arse up!!
I only did one lap on Moose’s YZ before I thought it was a good idea to act my age and put it away.
Those trails in the bush were in the best condition of any of the trails in this area I reckon, with the right amount of moisture and a nice layer of leaf mulch.Hey Bull, the pig came into her own on those hill climbs though. You gotta love double reduction!!!
April 19, 2009 at 1:02 am #129706One thing I forgot to mention, how awesome is the Devil’s Punchbowl??? I have always wanted to go in there and have a look, thanks for taking us there. A very spectacular spot!! The only disappointment was I didn’t take my camera.
