Rightio. I have my new toy and now need to know what is the best software program for working with tracks etc. on your computer. I have downloaded a free program Easy GPS but it has no map details. Advice, help and guidance all welcomed.

Garmin City Navigator with their Base Camp mapping software is good but maybe not if you don’t have a Garmin. TB is likely to be here soon with heaps of info.

Down load the free Garmin “Base Camp” and purchase Australian & NZ Topo maps mini SD card off Ebay for about $20 to $25.00. Its got heaps of detail of most named Firetrails and shows contours at 20m interval and most formed gravel roads (even private property roads) as well as all the normal topo features and named normal roads.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, Base Camp is a winner. Very easy to use. Routes planned already.
