Have just spent the last hour out in the stinking heat
getting the player almost out.

All covers off, screws and bolts undone and started
pulling the whole unit out but its held in place by a
thick bundle of wires. Hand is to big to get at them
so erred on the side of caution and left them alone.
Shook the unit and i could here the coins rattling.
Put it all back together. Defeated

At least i’ve got 2 cd’s back.

Next problem its asked me for the code for the radio
which i’ve looked for and cant find.

call/ go see the nearest dealer,

give em the vin and they should be able to give you the code.

and i forgot the wires at the back should be robust enough to pull the head unit out enough to tip forward / on it’s side

and will have a big plug you can disconnect to take the unit out.
