Nah ECKS, I didn’t get a new helmet,it has since had a bigger smack on the ground and now has a big gouge in it.
It is hard to retire a near new $500 helmet, without the missus having something to say about the cost of “bloody motorbikes”.

Here’s what you do Mick go out to the wife’s car are take a sparkplug lead off, when she say’s the cars playing up have a look at it and tell her its major and it will cost about $500 then drive it around a mates place put the lead back on and degrease the motor to make it look good have a couple of beers……. problem solved money for new helmet:lol: 😆

well after months of lazyness, i finally started pulling her down a couple of weeks ago. i wanted the swingarm off so it could go to the powdercoaters too.

you can see the twist in the frame here

all the arse end off, swingarm bushes looked brand new still. Tonka, my apprentice wasnt much help:laugh: :laugh:

i got the frame, swinger and stand back from the coaters on friday. they did a wicked job. it only cost me $215. i couldnt have painted it for that price:laugh: :laugh:

the swingarm looks grey here but it is silver with metal flake

i will be getting into it again after the snow ride to have it “tip-top” for sammy before we go to louee;)
