I once measured up my father in laws 235hp V6 evinrude 2t outboard motor to try and jam one in an RZ500 chassis and build a horror drag bike, then i found out the price of the V6 unit….
cheaper to buy a rolls royce merlin engine.

September 9, 2009 at 9:39 am #151724ATM repco has 2 cans for $4.99 for all you show ponies…tyre shine on a dirtbike :silly:
what next armoural on your seats  .
Pressure washing and wash’n wax after every ride.
Poms on KTMs…what is this country coming too :X ,
Why when i was a lad.
*Tyre shine was a substance only known by dodgy moustachioed second hand carsales men by the name of Mario who loved Fiats 124s and Torana XUIs
*We washed our bikes in the creek, lotsa elbow grease and only a few fish and penny turtles died, and the snakes didn’t mind too mind
*My stupid idiotic 6’4″ mate used armoural on his Roadbike seats to scare pillions stupid (actually he didn’t need to do that he could do it by just taking his helmet off and standing up straight
*And POMs rode BSA bantams into the 70’s telling us how they were so superior to our Japanese bikes, after we had flogged them in timed laps…on an MR50 at 7.
