eric, sorry mate but my kids have forced me to cancel on ya. daughters 1&3 have got their heads together and decided that this is the ideal weekend for them to come home for a family christmas. Both of them are not coming back at xmas as they are going away and the youngest is then off to Europe for 4 weeks. daughter no2 has now moved to Cairns so she wont be back either.
Sorry mate and enjoy the weekend, i was looking forward to it

Not good you lot! C’mon Axel, don’t be so soft mate! (I can say that, since I ride once in a blue moon!) Drag ya missus along to hang out with Cath – she might back off on any talk of kids for a while after a couple of hours with our girls!

Patto, I hear ya, I have that coming in the years to come. Shame to miss you too, but now that Orange is going to be home I’m that much closer to your neck of the woods.

Anyone else game for a spin with us??

Just to recap, Mal is out and ekipS is also out – leaving the rest of the crew to have a cracker of a ride!

Anyone still interested can get a place if they are keen!

Sorry TB, got a huge silly bugger of a lot of work on at the moment, have not even been in the office through daylight hours at all! Not really enough to make a thread but I have a couple of photos. Not many Old Bulls showed, had a few DBW starters and a few phone-call mates. Bit disappointing the lack of OBT starters really, but I suppose this time of year and all…

    So anyway here’s some piccies:

Heading through town with Roy and v8r following, bikes on utes:

Rolling up to Catomal past the iconic Blue Fridge!
    IMG_2273.jpg

Most of the starters (JRD was late!)

At the top of the Drop

Will(?) had a drop on the Drop and broke a clutch perch. Ride over for him. :(
    IMG_2277.jpg

Ben made it in one piece, somehow! It was not pretty, but style points were not awarded for the day anyway!
    IMG_2280.jpg

v8r and Troy took the “Easy” way around that turned out to be harder than the main trail!

By the time we got to Rubble Hill most riders were shagged… ended up with a lot of photos like this:

    JRD

Stu’s mate (Sorry, forget your name!)
    IMG_2290.jpg

    And me
    IMG_2292.jpg

Chris rode straight up Rubble Hill as usual. A few others also made it, including Mick and JRD. Top effort you blokes! I was too hot and buggered to even try!

We then headed back, but not before a small incident with Stu’s mate on the Husky 300. Coming down a steep downhill he missed the brake somehow and ended up cartwheeling down about a 5 metre drop! Fortunately the bike didn’t follow him and both rider and bike were OK.

    IMG_2301.jpg

And that was enough, I think most of us were done in at that stage and the pool was calling! Beers and a pool on a hot saturday arvo, top stuff!

Wallareen was a bit of a quiet one, with JRD and myself on home turf and Roy tagging along. Not too much in the way of tracks, but what we rode was tops! We made it to the top of Rocky hill and I got a piccie or two to prove it:

Thanks again to Mick for opening Catombal for us! Great stuff mate!

Thanks to Roy for making the trip, I hope it was worthwhile for you! Onya JRD, good to catch up again! Nice to meet anyone I hadn’t met before. Good to see v8r on the TTR. Get a 13 tooth front sprocket mate!

    Till next time!

    ECKS
