Axel im in mate, it is an awesome weekend that is part of Australian History.

Ive been going for 9 years and love it. Cant beat the sound of the V8s on a Sunday morning roaring up the mountain.

We will have to organise a OBT Bathurst weekend next year.

Sounds good lads. Lets regroup a few weeks before [the next years event] then so I can apply for some time off. (and grow a rats tail, and a goatee, and a beer gut) :D

If you want to camp up on the mountain the campsite start to get allocated in March for regulars and about a month later for new comers.

This year they sold out all the good spots in McPhillamy Park and Reid and Sulman in about an hour.

So regrouping a few weeks out is waaaaay too late. :( Except for a day trip.

I had one of these in 74, cost just over 5K on the road, top speed about 200 kph.

    What a car. :) :) :)
