Cracker ride report Lefty. With all us watching your progress via the spot tracker, you most likely would have had the “some one is watching me feeling”.
Did you at any stage just have a look over your shoulder to make sure?
Mate, congrats once again! I still think you are crazy though!
Cheers

Funny you say that Mick but I was looking in the mirror a few times as I didn’t want anyone to pass me so I was then in their dust

That rear held up pretty well for the run ,, what do you reckon would have been better on the front ???Cheers
I recommended the T63 rear but didnt talk about the fronts and they are crap, he thought I was talking about both  Sorry Lefty  Rears are good but eh
Reckon the Baja fronts are a good thing, testing one now. Cant beat a Dunlop 952 front ripper just arent road legalTB
TB, was that the rear tyre you wanted me to try when we were talking at St Albans 2 day nav?
It looks good for the Ks

Yes it was the one I said would be worth trying, 130/80-17 Michelin T63. I get 5k out of one and thats the same as a E-09 but have heaps more grip.
Lefty try a Baja front, the knobs dont heal and toe like a Desert front and have more grip than a Rally Raid and the desert and have a wicked edge that fold back over the rim to protect it. Just a thought

Good to hear the bike held up well and the trip was incident free…sounds like it was well planned on all fronts.
Cheers
