Not much has been changed so far, that isn’t going to last for long though….

Sweet looking bike moto, Now you gotta save up and put an Akrapovic pipe on it and it will sound as sweet as it looks.

I’ve just bought a Wings Titanium pipe (with the all important carbon tip) that will be fitted when I get back along with a re-jet to give her a little more ‘snap’ :)

I just phoned the shop up to see if it has been delivered…….it’s in!! So I’ll go pick it up tonight, may even run with it at the weekend despite the jetting not being sorted, I’ll put it on tonight if I can and see how it goes :)

This is going to be good….

When I put the Akra on the 530 I didn’t touch the jets and 100 hrs later still haven’t , I don’t know if the pipe made it go faster but it certainly sounds faster..LOL:woohoo:

I’m not expecting much from the exhaust itself power wise. I want it rejetted to give me some more instant power off the throttle. The guy in the shop that sold it to me showed me his 450 and seemed to be much more responsive when just cracking the throttle on and off. The will do the re-jet for free for me (when I can get the bike to them).

If it works out to be a heap of shit I’ve still got an exhaust that’s lighter (more than 50%) than the standard, better looking and much better sounding :)

Okay, so I fitted the exhaust last night. The bolt that holds it to the rear subframe was too short so I had to temporarily remove a couple of the spacers that hold it in place. Not exactly ideal, but will suffice until I get a longer bolt.

With the baffle in it sounds a bit girthier than standard, nothing rude and would pass scrutineering at the races. With it it sound seven more meaty. The 1m flame that rips out of the exhaust on decel means it definately needs re-jetting though.

I’ll run with the baffle in at the weekend to save BBQ’ing any of the boys behind me in the single track!! :)
