The rat arrived at 6.00pm to test the 576 after repairing it late the other night. We went for a few laps around the sprint track and the mx track showed no problem so we set off on a 20km loop in the forest out the back of my property as soon as we hit the bush I realised I was pushing my 525 harder than I had ever pushed it before and still only just keeping up the trail turned rocky and the rat turned it up to warp speed it wasn’t long after this I saw the rat’s bike lying across the track and himself running for cover as I hit the same rock he did but was able to regain control as my forks are full of oil. I helped the rat dust himself off after a quick damage check we cruised back to the shed I was thinking to myself how am I or anyone else going to keep up with this maniac and machine. Thanks everyone for the Wauchope ride last Saturday it was a pleasure to ride with such a top group of blokes, sorry to mr gas gas re the downhill log incident hope to see you all on a ride soon:lol:

Since hearing that phrase a while back I have also adopted it as my moto. Prior to that it was”aspirations outweighing abilities.”

I finally feel like I have been for a ride now….I always hurt with Black Betty….Man you should see the bruising ….I am going to try and walk today….Bill you were right I did hit the left shoulder , it is talking to me now, and none of it is nice, is all pain….but good pain….Dude she flies doesn’t she,I love it, I may have to go to one of my own schools to learn all over again, although I think I should look into repairing that fork leg….they work better with oil in them .

It was that bloody yamahas fault, no power full throttle you can get away with, but not with betty, anywhere past 1/4 throttle is game on, and guess what , I was not on the game.
