With ongoing support from Yamaha Australia and Adventure Moto we are proud to announce 2015’s premier ADV ride from Dubbo to Alice Springs and back. The following information is an outline of what you might expect on this ride and we are interested in feedback and expressions of interest if you want to join us on this great ride in 2015.
What you can expect…
Supported outback travel at its best to Alice Springs and back, 13 days, be a part of all that is the Finke desert race in its 40th
Special and standard routes offered (The special crosses the Simpson desert and will be limited in numbers according to rider experience, bike and available support (subject to organisers discretion, please contact Greg)
Routes split in Birdsville and re-join in Alice Springs. Standard offers the ride experience with Stephen Gall. Both routes offer as much off road as possible.
Camping and limited overnight accommodation available every night.
Standard offers 4 days layover in Alice Springs to attend scrutineering prologue and both race days.
Special (Simpson Crossing) offers 3 days off in Alice Springs to attend prologue and both race days.
Sweep riders and support vehicles on both routes with limited luggage carrying (One bag or item) for all riders included in the ride price. A yours to keep limited edition Wolfman duffle bag will be supplied for luggage purposes.
Both routes visit such iconic locations such as Bourke, Hungerford, Birdsville, Big Red, Alice Springs, Mt Dare, Oodnadatta, Lake Ayre, Lyndhurst, Strzelecki track, Gammon Ranges, Arkaroola, Broken Hill and everything in between.This ride is strictly Limited in numbers and our aim is to keep the ride as affordable as possible (TBA)
All bikes will be scrutineered and must be fit for riding the outback.Expressions of interest are now been taken, please email info@rideadv.com.au. We will answer as many questions as we can and keep riders and interested parties informed as the final plan develops.

Rob400 and are a leaving from Airlie Beach and riding to Perth stopping at Finke for the race so we might catch up with some of you there !! I’ve been wanting to do this ride for 10 years now and 2015 will be the year :woohoo:

You do know there will be about 100 riders traveling from Perth to Byron at the same time
