Seeing as Aido hasn’t started a ride report yet i’ll post up the pics i took. Only one from a camera and the rest from me mobile phone.

First creek crossing and only pic with me camera as it went flat. It went flat just as Smurf was crossing and a school of tadpoles went past and he couldn’t surpress his childhood memories and decided to just drop the bike there and then and go chasing them.

    And another Smurf rest.

    And another.

Tim at the first break. Realising he needed more than three hours sleep after a night at the disco drinking shots.

    03102010138DesktopResolution.jpg

A nasty hill that only Tim and Menace took on with no success

    03102010140DesktopResolution.jpg

Menace almost flipping it trying to get out of the valley.

A creek crossing that everyone needed help with.

As we were riding we pass two walkers whom i thought to meself wernt really dressed for the occasion and they were in the middle of no-where. A bit further down the road i realised why they were walking. It was a lot worse than the picture shows.

    Good photos JAK.
I never realised smurph was such a greeny, he loves getting close to nature. Just gotta hug the ground whenever the urge takes hold.
You forgot to mention the two XR400 riders we came upon, fully decked out in gear from a Ballards catalogue. :P

A few more photos and those tadpoles were bigger than they seemed and I didn’t wont to run over them. Thats my story and I’m sticking to it.

Damage report, lots of bruises and bruised ego from a couple of walks of sham. One smashed knee brace which obviously did it’s job because my knee is still in one piece. Didn’t know I’d done until getting changed.
Some of the tracks were definate goat tracks that had been abandoned by the goats and left for one old goat to find and travel. I found plenty of them and saw them from all different angles.

then dragged YOUR bloody battle tank of a bike up, while you did the walk of shame with you bottom lip trembling
    smartarse :P

and hey…. the fat bloke on the 2 stroke made it up there.

my day started by going to bed at 1.30am…

    f**ken daylight savings

then getting up tooo early, i was a little under the weather.

i was running late and only 2/3 of the way there when Aido rang me, i told him i was still in bed…. “ya f**ken WHAT“, he said
he told me he was throwing rocks at Tims window trying to wake him, all romeo and juliet like

i met them at the servo, Aido was telling me how Tim and his mongrel finally got up and greeted him at the front door, thinking he was from Foxtel     :S :side:
    WTF

we hit wombat, i was feeling heaps better after seeing the state of Tim…..
and some macca’s brekky

the tracks were sweet, a little bit of dust but lots of puddles and heaps of big bog holes. ;)
i started off a little scratchy, thinking my tyres were too hard  but it was just my hangover…. man it felt skatey

it was all good till we hit the “new tracks”
the first gnarly hill claimed me from lack of momentum and slipping back on the seat
tim gave it a go and buggered it up too.
i nearly flipped it coming back out    and Tim detoured through the bush

another group of riders that we had previously met rolled up and only one or two of those blokes gave it a crack before going around…

    we did the same

we took on some more (i reckon they were sweet) singles and came across a wicked ST uphill, it was a little lumpy, with a few steps for the first 10 or so metres but then smoothed out to the best track of the day (IMHO)
smurf was already wounded by this stage and was a little reserved on trying it.
we decided to take, what we thought was the easy way :S

as the photos show, it was a slippery, log ridden, off camber, well rooted and rutty track that boiled bikes and blokes

after a while it settled out and turned into a great track.
at the endiof it, we decided to take the easy route to the pub.

lunch was good with a feast of roast pork :) and a black aspirin (johnny and coke)

we took the standard route back to the cars pretty much.

thewhole day was just a sniggering of roosts and splashes.
    noone was immune.

tim hammered me with probably the best roosting i have EVER copped
i was trapped in a rut, i just threw the bike over, raised my arms in disgust and walked off
    it was a beauty
all i could hear was Aido cackling his head off behind me

    10 points Tim ;)

he did get his just deserves though, with a few splashings and some roost. he was so sick, every chance he could, he would lay down for a rest…next to a puddle
    you can guess the rest.

i gave GOB70 a good roosting  which made him hit the turbo button   next thing i know he was in front returning the favour.

Aido managed to dismount into some mud while i was behind him ;)
i could see in his eye he was gonna pick up the bike, start it and roost me so i used his dirty blue beast as a wedge and lofted out of the rutt, he had it leaned at just the right angle
i popped back in in front of him and said, “hey Aido”… “what”….. WHHHAAAAAAAAA

hey i did warn ya

    Awwwe,

how much fun was it. the whole day was fantastic :)

im not really sore and i was standing for 75% of the ride. my back feels strong as! i was going pretty hard in the arvo and only had one freaky moment. i had a rock roll under my front on a corner, while i was standing up..im not sure how i stayed on
Gob was my witness
he said it looked impressive

    i shit

    it was just awesome….

lets do it again this weekend*….

    (*=work pending)

ps- Billt is a jealous bitch and hates us all now   everyone should send him a PM and tell him how good it was

    awesome!!!

When we got back to the cars aido asked me if i stopped and helped try and push the pajero up the hill. :)

My reply was “nah mate, there was no one in the car” then the penny dropped.

“your taking the piss, are’nt you”, nothing but a grin from him :P
