Got a phone call this morning at 6am from Gili’s girlfriend as Gili is in Hobart ATM. some lowlife scumbags have stolen his 07 WR450,my sons 05 KX250f and a Pushy as well as tools etc. I think his bike was insured, but the KX wasnt. everyone keep an eye out for these bikes if you can
The WR was pretty standard except for GYTR radiator guards and FX graphics and one ride old MXretreads front and back. The KX had a DEP pipe and broken heat shield and white Racetec plastic handguards. Keep an eye out on Ebay or trading post.
Thanks guys
Pissed off Ollie
Bike were located at Hornsby
October 15, 2009 at 10:39 pm #156783It would be real nice if for ONCE ,Just ONCE, the Idiots who call themselves Judges/magistrates took a harder stand on those caught for thieving. I know it wont happen because everyine is trying oh so hard to folow the somewhat GAY Poltically correct line..you know..” oh he’s just misunderstood.”, ” we cant be hard on the poor buggers, they have a had life”… As much as i hate to say it, Indonesia, Thialand have a great system.. Beat the daylights out of them with some Ratten cane accross the back.. a few hundred times.. second time..Just shoot the Bastards.
Sorry for your loss Ollie. Hope they find them and return them in good order.
October 15, 2009 at 10:58 pm #156791the bit that really jerks my chain is that if someone knocked off $12,000 cash a whole lot more effort would be put into catching the bastards, but knock off a $12,000 bike and no one seems to care?
Correct me if I am wrong but that is how it appears to me.October 15, 2009 at 11:08 pm #156792F#%ING DIRTY LITTLE SCUMBAG LOWLIFE C*#TS.
As for the magistrates, your right, most of the time the penalty for riding the bikes without a licence is bigger than the penalty these grubs get for stealing them.
Not two weeks ago we picked up two shitheads in a stolen VW Golf GTI Turbo worth $50.000. This had been taken from an aggrivated break and enter along with a Porche Cayenne. Surprise surprise the Porche was located within a couple streets of these shitheads house.
They both got Juvinile cautions, just don’t seem like justice or any sort of deterant.
October 15, 2009 at 11:17 pm #156794Give the F%*king rsoles to us for 10 minutes, thats all I`de need and they would never steal again.. that sucks nipples, how did they get them,IE; broke into shed???
Will keep eye out, I would love to be there if you catch them,,Bit over the low life scum that rip off other peoples stuff.
October 15, 2009 at 11:21 pm #156796Just a quick not guys too. For those of you that chain your bikes up in the shed, be sure to get the chain through the frame.
I have now seen a couple of bikes that have been chained by the wheel only and the theives have taken the wheel off and taken the bike without the wheel.
October 15, 2009 at 11:26 pm #156797Geez Olly, crap news mate. Hope they catch these scumbags. Boony has the right idea I reckon… he’ll suck their nipples till they cry for mercy (shouldn’t take long, just the thought scares me!)

Correct me if I am wrong but that is how it appears to me.when i was notified that the the ‘person’ who stole my cr just rode into his garage with one fitting it’s disciption. i had to plead with a cop to drive 3 streets over to check it. i had to make a deal with him that if he did not make an arrest he would arrest me for wasting his time. as it turn out, it was not my bike (he had allready swapped it for drugs and it was sent to SA) but it was another bike he had just stolen.
note: just about every other cop i have met has been quite diligent

October 15, 2009 at 11:38 pm #156802A bloke here in town recently had his YZ250 knocked off by some characters who’s relatives have been in Australia for over 10,000 years. They wheeled the bike away during the night and he just followed the tracks left in the dew which led him to their side gate 5 houses up the street. A quick look over the fence revealed the bike sitting in the back yard,he let himself in and retrieved his bike then rang the police.
The police said nothing could be done as there where several people living at that address and they couldn’t determine who actually took the bike.End off matter as far as the police where concerned.
It was blatantly obvious who took the bike,so old mate went up and beat the shit out of him and even got his gear bag back that was also stolen at the time.
Payback is a cultural thing, that ol mate understood.October 15, 2009 at 11:41 pm #156804Trailboss wrote:
