    Its a mock-up make-up fake or joke – I think it was on one of those video idiot shows one time. Still, suspension of disbelief and all, pretty funny!:lol:

    OH is it, I looked at it and couldnt see where they swap the guy running down for a dummy to launch or how it is fake, having said that I reckon his legs from the take of would be worn as earrings after take off

    Working from a shonky memory here TB, based on a show I may have seen going in the background while I was up to serious stuff (like drinking!)… I think they swap as the bloke trots down to the danger zone. As you say, the forces involved would turn ol’ mate into a blob of strawberry jam before he went soaring upwards… The parachute bit at the end is a cut-and-paste for sure.

    I wouldn’t like to see the mess if this had actually been attempted!

    The surf board would just break anyway, even if it was a dummy planted.. It was shonky as soon as the board was hit. You couldn’t launch an object that large quickly into the air with leverage.
