Yes yes and yes, no yes yes no,
I have never had a problem with it, I have set the max to 1024 * 768 from 800 * 600, if someone wants to test it, not to say it will stay that way. We can have the forum opening in it’s own full page but I always thought it looked crap, vbulletin opens in a full page, that’s why you can have bigger images. Maybe TB and I will look into it, but I have never had reason to be concerned. But if it is what the users want then we will look into it. Especially since mr senior moderator has piped up and had a say too.
Cheers
Chris.O.K all my images in photobucket are already resized to 800 * 600 need to find a bigger one.

AnonymousThat pic you just posted has a dimension of 512 X 384 pixels viewing on my screen. Small as:dry:
January 29, 2009 at 5:41 am #120079I’d like to see larger images Chris. I think the smaller ones detract from the originals, if you see my ride report for Clarence on DBW or ADV you’ll see what I mean.
Another test image:
Looks better in the larger size I think.Edit: I would say 1024×768 should be a minimum, larger would be nice.

O.K hows that look now, that is as big as I am going to go, any bigger and users will have to scroll back and forth to see the whole screen and I know how much Mick hates that.
Cheers

AnonymousGo bigger, at least fit the page a bit better
I only have a 20′ monitor and it’s half way there..Like your missus wishes, go bigger !!!!
January 29, 2009 at 5:47 am #120082My 22″ screens make even 1024×768 pretty small so maybe I’m a touch biased, but the bigger the better I think!
January 29, 2009 at 5:49 am #120084The powers are meeting tomorrow evening we will discuss it, moderators everybody, then Chris and I will talk next week, yeah Chris and let you know for sure

Looks like he is making the changes now TB… (You just wanna piss it up)
January 29, 2009 at 5:52 am #120083If I go even a little bigger then you have to scroll right to see the whole page, (based on screen res of 1024 * 768) I generally run my resolution at about 1600 * 1200 depending on what monitor it is, I can make the images very big but then if people are running 1024 * 768 they will need to scroll to the right, then we will have everyone whingeing that they need to scroll to see the whole page if they are running a lower resolution.

Yes if everyone had 22″ widescreen monitors it would be sweet, we could do a group purchase!
Cheers

I run a 1600×1200 res and those pics are still small.. Just widen the text field again and the pics will become larger..
