Just purchased a new SCOTT enduro style bumbag(Cause the Scott jacket is sooo good)THANKS SUTTOS
Bumbag fits all the tools I have so far, some extras & a spare clutch lever & still has room for some more yet.A question on this off subject I know ,,but,,
Do you guys find it best to wear the Bumbag on the GUT or on the BUM????
I have heard that the GUT can be more comy, letting it rest on ya legs (kind of) as ya ride??I wear mine on my Gut nowadays as I am using a Dianese body suit, with the bag around the bag it always gets hooked up.I also prefer it at the front because you dont have to take it off to get any tools out.Oh and because its rather heavy,(I carry a lot of stuff)it tends to drag around your arse which is rather uncomfortable  The Bumbag Im using is one of Porky Eldridges IMHO the best there is,PS always remember to wrap any sharp tools like a shifter in a rag, this will stop it from wearing a hole in the leather.

Ha Ha Im usually carrying spares for two bikes
I just have tools that I know would be a prick without, and dont really like having to rely on others except when necessary.Every time I do maintenance on my bike(s) I try and use the tools from the bumbag,so you know what works and what doesntB)
January 23, 2009 at 10:13 am #119352Yeah thats a good point, I try and do the same, everything from my bum bag where possible, then if Chickens there I leave it in the car lol
Good job Ollie

January 24, 2009 at 3:35 am #119081When I first got my Husky, i took tools everywhere with me. When I Binned my husky, none of the tools were any use, I had to push the bike home for surgery anyway. Now I wonder at the idea of taking them with me. I worry about flats, apart from that, if something fails, I keep thinking that without a spares list as long as my arm, what can you fix? I keep my maintenence up on the bike, more than religously, so i reckon shes’ right. ( I guess from reading this that putting the Toolkit that came with my bike, on top of the battery, where its designed to go, isnt smart?) Does anyone zip tie their tyre levers to the frame? I’ve been giving it some thought..in the subframe area????
