I called Rory at Rock MC to see about getting some gear before Sunny Corner and I am stoked with the outcome …

    1. Great advice on chains , sprockets and steering damper

    2. Good discounts on ALL the parts I bought ( even the Peewee 50 tubes B) )

    3. Prices are better than shopping overseas , once the freights added.

    4. Fair freight pricing to get to Yamba ( 4 hours north of the store )

    5. Friendly service from Rory and the other staff I spoke to.

    6. STOKED !!!! :D

I’ve always had one and found it had to get used to the light front end of the Crf without it. Having said that I am starting to get used to it and find it strange getting on the Tenere with one fitted and usually start the ride at the very lightest setting then increase it as I go.

Rory suggested the best thing is to get the front suspension dialed in first to take care of most of the deflections then see if I still want one. I like riding singles mainly on the 250 and don’t do much at all on fast fire roads but as TB said ‘ it only takes one decent hit at the end of the day when your fatigued and it could be a damper that saves you !’. Very good advice I think :)

yeah your right. getting some great advise and service from alot. im in sydney and rebuilding a second rm65 for my son and getting great help. Imported heaps of parts from the states already but in the final phase parts are cheaper here and dont have to pay for freight. They must be hurting and rather the turnover than profit.
