Strucky traded his DR in on the latest model in Broken Hill with the track maintenance attachment, still needed push starting like all good DRs

    null_zps09b7df13.jpg

Afterwards the boys found a park bench to rest on

    null_zps2a99e7f8.jpg

There was an incident at the play centre when Strucky wouldn’t leave after we let him have a play was dragged away kicking and screaming even a bubble O bill wouldn’t settle him. Ace has let him stay up late and had to much sugar this trip

Crash waited for the Indian pacific so we could attach Ace and Strucky’s spot tracker too. We figured Eagle would melt down as it headed to Perth non stop

We are out of the game, stuck in the hill tonight ( that’s what the locals call it  ) the others are camping at Mendinee lakes and will continue to Trangie tomorrow where we will meet them.

It’s been a tough ride

Well my official ride is done but the unofficial limp back to trangie is yet to come.

The single best trip of my life :woohoo: great places, great people, great company and the best riding in my life. Some of the riding was easy and some frightened the living shite out of me but that was what made it incredible.
Wheeling the Tenere through some of the technical sections gave me a woody

Thanks to the guys for helping out, and thanks to TB for sticking with me and making sure all is good, thanks to Lefty for sorting a welder, cheers mate. B)
The wheel is welded and some how straight……ish  thanks to all.
This trip has left me on the biggest high.

    Time for beer.

We would only have given to someone who would have return posted it, and Crash Pete and I pledged to replace it if something happened ;) we thought a grey nomad in a caravan or a road train. Ace said was the stand up guy that said we shouldn’t do that to Eags and rightly so has our back ;) and you have Eags and it is appreciated like you won’t ever know mate

Tugboats right hand man Philth posted this yesterday on ADV, I reckon it should be shared around,,,
It is the reason a lot of guys headed to Birdsville to give the great man a fitting send off and pay their respects ;)

BTW I just looked at this photo and realised that its showing the good side of the rim, the cracked side is worse  it went wonky when it cracked and the tension came of it. Welded and I tuned some spokes and we a go
