    Well first things first.

A big thank you to TB for making this happen.

Ace has summed most of it up , but if you have not been out that way you need to put it on your bucket list.

The wild life is increbible you are constantly trying to avoid hitting them. They just appear out of nowhere.
    Things like this

    aholelotofbull203_zpsf3621117.jpg

We arrived at Mungindi for fuel and lunch, whilst eating five DR,s arrived. One of the bikes was decked out with all the top gear. It turned out to be Vince Strang the DR God – What a top bloke to talk with.aholelotofbull199_zps5025965a.jpg

After lunch it was all systems go to Lighning Ridge passing through the Cubby Station on our way, Wow that was something to see. Its a shame its not owned by us anymore with the Chinese now the owners thanks to our current PM. Over the next couple days it was just great to be out in the middle of nowhere as we continued on too the corner.

We spent a bit a time in Naccundra riding around working out the best route. Time for a re fuel and a cold beer – One of many on our travels. The owner of the pub was looking after a Joey whose mother unfortunately was killed by a BMW rider.

Lost again, hours later we arrived at Dig Tree.

It was great to get to Innamincka, I had to ring my bank manager as it is not a cheap place. We managed to find enough money to buy Ace a beer. Which he enjoyed.

The next day we headed to the corner. We were both very excited as we approched however it was a strange feeling. I think it was a feeling of relief that we had finally arrived but also disbelief of just how quiet and isolated it was. After some hours the three Amigos arrived. It was great to see them.
One of the highlites of the corner was meeting a lady named Phillis who is in charge of checking 100km of dog fence every day. Phillis was a interesting lady who you would be smart not to argue with. A tough women who I enjoyed talking with. – Hard to imagine your job being checking 100km of fencing each and every day.

We had a great night at the corner, the locals were just great, Phillis arrived with her friends who demanded to be fed. What a good night.

aholelotofbull265_zpsbf1c0470.jpgThe next day we headed out from the cornor for the second part of the trip.

This shirt is proudly hanging on the wall for all future OBT to sign as you enjoy a beer at the corner.

Great RR guys. I just had to nip off on the bike up to Terry Hills for a quick blast after reading them. Hardly Camerons Corner but It will have to do for tonight. I didn’t see any pigs either!

Can’t wait to hear more at the Lithgow nav ride. How was the Beemer in the sand Ace? Looks like you haven’t scuffed her up too much!
