I live at The Entrance on the Coast, not in Sydney. If we are going to the pines I could meet someone just off the Freeway at Tuggerah (signposted The Entrance) so it wouldn’t be out of the way at all.

If we are going to ride from somewhere a little closer I would just ride out unless soemone has a burning desire to pick me up.

I may even have transport sorted by then. I’m away with work for almost 3 weeks soon so that will hamper progress on that front…

Fair chance I would know just about any entrance you would like to enter on, but which one best suits

    Dunks Lane?
    Maculata Road?

Both get onto Watagan Forest Road which goes all the way to the pines.

Yeah thats ok but which Pub did you guys visit on your ride on the weekend, am working on somewhere we can come back to fuel without going over the same tracks to much

We went to the Dooralong Lodge. The Pines will probably be better for mid day refuelling. I don’t really know any of the tracks around the pines either so will be good to ride somewhere new :)

Pines it is, I would think someone would be able to grab you at Wyong rd or sparks rd or the twin caltexs or I can fix you up for some fuel, did you say you would bring a mate, what about him, would he need fuel or have ute/ trailer?

Yeah, I can be at Wyong or Sparks Rd. I have a few guys that could come and ride, of which 1 has a trailer! I’ll normally ride with 1 mate and we call the other guys depending on the riding were doing.

I’ll probably come on a ride with you guys first and see what it’s like before inviting some of the others I know less well. If it’s too ‘trail’ orintated they won’t be keen.

My normal riding buddy works until 8:30 on Saturdays otherwise I’d bring him along (he’s not the one with a trailer).

Just don’t know how much open path/firetail stuff is done and at what pace. I saw the last ride was 170K’s or something, which makes me think it’s slighty less hardcore ST as 80K’s of it is a fairly challenging ride.

No no champ people got lost and there was some high speed miles running back and forth looking, that was not the norm, check with the guys there, Ollie was saying about if its going to be that tight again he will ride his 2 stroke instead of his 450. Wont be 170kms this time. Twin trail and lots of single line

    Sweet :-)

None of them plan that far in advance, as the time gets closer I’ll shout a few of them up and see if what they’re up to. There’s 4 others all up. I’m deffo in though :-)
