March 25, 2010 at 3:46 am #173783So TB have you got this sorted yet? When do the right ones turn up?
March 25, 2010 at 3:52 am #174356They are custom making two and they will be here next Wednesday Fes
More to come about PWR and the radiators laterTB
March 25, 2010 at 3:59 am #174357Just make sure they get their logos painted on the same size. Do I smell a OBT discount deal?

Bigger doesn’t necessarily mean cooler if they don’t flow better. If they can’t get the logo’s the same size and send the right radiators out it doesn’t say much
Bigger isn’t better but you wouldn’t know, cant help how your born I guess
.
What is custom about the new ones, the fact they are changing a (proven?) design to fit your bike and it’s overly large header?
Slight change in shape for my guards, no flow or cooling changes just the brackets that attach to the tanks. The header it turned out wasn’t an issue anyway with the right width cores
So in all, you’ve bought bigger PWR radiators to help cool your bike but they don’t fit because of your custom header so they are custom building smaller ones so they fit
The radiators as explained above are exactly the same in header tank capacity and core size as the ones they normally make for these bikes and should have sent why the incorrect right side one was sent they cant explain, they have been good enough to do all the extra stuff I wanted at no cost when they only had to give the radiators we ordered really
At least they look good…..if you’re not comparing logo sizes :p
I am not a book learned engineer so I understand a logo you cant see isn’t a problem more I just want what fits up and works

March 27, 2010 at 2:09 am #174361anyone watching the GP, they just did a walkthrough the PWR radiator factory. very interesting. it takes near 40 hrs to make one F1 radiator.
i was looking out for the bloke that paints the logos on
March 27, 2010 at 2:26 am #174534They sacked him Menace on Moto’s recommendation
Oh I can now sort out the different logo size dilemma
The incorrect was made in 2002 and the other 2009, their stencil has changed

March 28, 2010 at 10:13 pm #173729Has it been worth the wait over the weekend?
TB
March 29, 2010 at 1:22 am #174680Found a radiator you might be able to use on the weekend.

AnonymousLook at the massive power gains you get with them though:
That’s what 2-3 hp out of 230hp = 0.013%
Assuming TB’s bike has 60hp that’s an increase of around 0.78hp when it’s not actually less than the stock unit
March 29, 2010 at 1:48 am #174728You are a peanut Moto
I am not looking for a horsepower gain the PWR radiators are stronger then standard, cheaper the OEM (genuine Honda a set) and are more efficient at their given task, maintaining thermostat governed cooling system temperature  Remember too cold and we start the whole motocool debate
At least cut and paste a chart for a motorbike if not a 650 or a least Honda  .
Thanks for your concern though mate
