    Hi All,

Upgrading my 7×4 gal Tuncurry box trailer to an 8×5 (too many kids too many bikes). Anyone recomend a Bris to Ballana supplier? Should I go tandem axle? Gal? Will almost only carry bikes / camping gear.

    Cheers Brad.

I reckon when it comes to choice of trailer it’s like buying a car, you get what you like and what suits your needs. I got an 8×5 from sydney for 990 with a yr rego about six months ago and I have done about 6000k’s since and all is fine.

If you can afford it go for a full alluminium one, nice and light and no corrosion.

I have a home made bike trailer that a bloke built over 10 years ago and its still going strong. I think most home made jobs tend to be over-engineered and therefore last longer, as opposed to the mass produced that seemed to be knocked together in a hurry.

Check ebay there are always plenty of good trailers (new and used).
