4 days before XMAS drove down to Melbourne and picked up a Suzuki PE400 1800 + kms, Not a drama. 2 days before Xmas heading up to Kempsey to visit the folks DRZ400 in the back didnt make 100 kms when I wrote the Triton off!!
The rain was continuous, the Holiday traffic horrendous and the Fuckwits out on the rd plentifull!! some dick in front decided he had had enough of travelling 80km/h in the centre lane and swung it hard into the fast lane no indicators no warning or intent nothing, the following 3 cars who were travelling at 90=95 km/h had to brake hard and locked up, unfortunatley for me I was the fourth in line and with the fully laden Triton and DRz had no chance, I managed to wipe off most of the speed but not enough, smacked into the back of a Hilux, airbags went off putting white smoke everywhere I was disorientated and crossed two lanes eventually smacking into the end of a barrier which did the most damage. Luckily I or any others was not hurt, Police Ambo’s and towies were quick to respond. The son came and picked up my gear and I had to ride the DRZ back down the freeway to home. The Fuckwit who caused it kept driving without even realising the carnage he had caused!! Luckily I was insured and havnt had a claim for over 25 years. Just renewed the wifes rego last night and because ive had an accident in the last 5 years which was MY Fault my CTP insurance has shot up $300 :pinch: Caaaarrrrrnnnntttttsssss!!!
