Well Pete the Wulf, Crash and myself are heading west at the start of May. We have given ourselves three days to get to Birdsville, will attend the spreading of Tug boat Bill’s ashes and raise a glass. From there we will head to the corner to catch up with a couple of Old Bulls and raise a glass. Then into SA, maybe even Vic and a Hattah crossing before blasting home.
Looking forward to visiting Hungerford, Thargomindah, and Noccundra to mention a few places I have yet to visit. Pete and Crash haven’t been west on the big bikes yet. Crash has the bling new blue Tenere, Pete is itching to go. I can’t wait, again not long ago it seemed an age away. Tonight as I finalised the routes for the three of us and the others going to the Corner I realised it is getting closer fast.
There are 2 months, 13 days, 6 hours, 28 minutes and 58 seconds remaining until we leave and that will go faster than your love for a new KTM

Sounds like another epic trip…….. Just remember its going to be painful for us to wait that long for one of your entertaining ride reports.

    Happy planning..

To say i am a little excited about this trip would be an understatement  I have always wanted to do a trip like this and i was even prepared to do a big ride on the Piglet by myself   but since i have the Tenere and some good company its going to be one awesome adventure.

The next couple of months is going to be quick but the last week will be sooooooo sloooooooooow :(

Finished your partners DR this evening Ace. All the above including cush drive brgs fitted a screen wired a Tapp Lite for his GPS routed a spare clutch cable new spark plug, new brake pads and checked the valves all within spec. New battery to be picked up tomorrow and fitted. New tyres to pick up Friday from adv moto and throw them at it. Pete is taking it back to him next weekend.
