Actually Kram sent me the spec sheet on his new GPS and it can’t have routes loaded on it, sorry Kram :pinch:
Any hand held Garmin Toes a CSX60 if you find one on eBay or a 62

Shared GPS doesn’t work when your paired partner breaks down pulls out or his fails, nah keep it simple no GPS no ride no hassles no worries no confusion

Vee Strom would get it done in your hands

I’ve got a Garmin 60 CSX and it’s a cracker. There is plenty of really good free maps that can fit on it too or you can buy the more expensive ones if needed.

I’ll check my dates for September.

TB, I would like to join this on the new DR. Will need to discuss the fuel part as I have no idea what the pig will do on a std tank. I do have a bladder though.

    Gaz

Umm Gaz I don’t think a standard tanked DR650 and a 10 litre bladder would be enough mate  you not fitting a bigger tank? Remember is 350 plus

You will need a GPS and hard wiring to make it reliable and a way to carry your camping gear ;) Plenty of time to get your stuff together anyway, I posted it early to give peeps time to get organised because off the type of ride it is.

    TB

    Damn,,
I have 12 ltr standard tank plus an 8ltr bladder & I reckon thats good for 380k on the 690 ;)
I can throw a 5 ltr jerry in a pannier as well if you reckon it might be warranted,,,,

How many ltr is the DR standard ????

There will be a new thread started soon as the start location has been moved to Mt Victoria. The move has been to take in some new riding tracks instead of doing the same old same old. The new tracks are some I have used but most will be new to most and well and truly worth the move :woohoo:

A date has been worked and posted as well

Am thinking about moving this to a Wauchope start and finish. Also if I do and it’s only a thought at the moment it will be a BIG two days to complete. So maybe allow for an extra day or some course cutting it will be over 1000kms remember daylight savings is back then, maybe a three day start Friday morning?

Am waiting on dates now

Thoughts peeps? Stay down south? North is a cracker route got some known cracker tracks thoughts huh huh
