I will be heading down in the morning and meeting up with the missus. Probably head through the Wattagans and Yengo to Putty or maybe through St Albans, wisemans and out to Wilberforce.
The weather may have a bearing on the route. Will call into the pub long enough to get the GPS loaded and make a plan with D-Rally then head back to the hotel for the night.
Have to work out which tyres to run too, the intermediates or the full knobbyies.

February 7, 2013 at 8:50 am #236412G’Day guys… Wolfy here. Just sayin I am looking forward to the two day Nav ride. This will be my first ride out this year and since we pre-rode part of the course with TB in 38 degree heat along with Clubby, just before NYE.
I have been nursing a busted foot (Yeah another one) but I am hoping all will be well on the ride. Tagging along with me is Peter Payne from YMA and Jason Barrett. I’ll only come unstuck if I try and keep up with these two legends. :silly:
Cheers
February 7, 2013 at 8:50 am #236413O’man I can wait!! I haven’t been out of my cage for a while, let alone on the dirt. :S
Eag’s I’m not sure if you got my PM (based on the site difficulties last week), but I really don’t know if I can get away from work early enough to join you for the ride to Mittagong…..but I am going to try. 👿 I will let you know next week. Thanks for the invite.
I’m seriously looking forward to catching up with everybody.
I also got my Zumo back finally (it has an epic fail on the APC) so Wiggster, we shouldn’t get too lost. Hopefully this time I will avoid any water holes. I’m ever thankful to Jeffo for marching in to save me. Also glad I didn’t meet DJ’s fate in that hold. Probably only a meter away from it though.
Anywho, so you all soon.

February 7, 2013 at 9:03 am #236419Ok Kids
Cant wait for this ride, been busy getting bikes ready but on top of it now. Last bit of a pre run sunday and we will be ready. Make sure you have read the first post I will update it shortly again with everything including fuel distances. The fuel distances are the minimum remember allow extra for detours and get lost.
This is a navigation event you will need to make sure you are on your toes zooming in and out, track notes will be more important than ever.TB

Bugger,,,Anyway I remember that Kamakazi Rocket was paired up with Me & Ace for the weekend, poor him
Welcome aboard KR, should be a hoot of a weekend, just bring your sense of adventure, your best navigation eyes and a cast iron gut:laugh:
Also saw that Steve (Wolfy) chimed in and has a couple of special guests coming along, Mr Payne from Yamaha Aus and Jason Barrett from Barrett Exhausts
Awsome
I also posted the link for the maybe proposed route I might take on the friday arvo to Mittagong,
http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=2001539
Any other Hunter based riders have any other ideas or keen to hook up for the group ride down maybe.
Will probably change my departure time to 3pm (Newy area) to accommodate PTW if he is keen to ride rather than drive to Wisemans ,,, No real adventure in that and cuts the ride time way too shortThis will be a crackerjack run as TB sure knows how to peice together a terrific ADV route and thanks to him, we get to share it and follow along at our own pace
Bring it on, I can`t wait !!!!
Thanks eagle.. and I have been warned about you lot.. TB’s given me all the dirty 4 stroke oil on you guys..bahaha.. should be a blast.. I’ll only have one night to change the dress on my girl as I fly back from the Mine on the 14th so it will be a late night for me.. :S but all good..
see you at the pub!KR
