Not my fault you can’t tell a story… I notice you like taking pics of sticks across the track. But you say nothing of what you did. They say a picture tells a thousand words… but your picture words aren’t the same as mine… obviously. :pinch:

October 17, 2013 at 11:13 pm #250761Hey TB,
If the reserve list is empty does that mean I’m in? I’ve been sitting in the car port ready to go with the engine running for a while now, pretty soon I’m going to run out of fuel.
Thanks Disco

October 27, 2013 at 10:44 am #250365So after a shit week and having to deal with the worry of the bush fires etc. I was hanging for a ride. I had planned a one day that Eagle looked after for me (thanks mate) I decided late Saturday arvo I had too much to do here at home and with Salina being away I had to do something’s here. The King was already here picking up his bike and Crash was heading here for the One Day. The boys offered to help get things straightened out here and we would then have time to slip out
Lefty rang Saturday night and asked what was going on and a plan was hatched. We would go and look at the damage done by the winds to the first half of the day one track for the November Navigation ride. I made it clear it would be an early start early finish which suited Lefty.
We left home about 6.30, Lefty had a little extra bit to add to the start we ran and ticked off for the ride and then I led the guys down a little stock route I had seen a few times but never followed. It’s a cracker so I have added that. We then struck the first obstacle for the day on a steep downhill. So I went left and it dropped away and well there was drama and I ended up putting a stick through the side of the air box cover.
The pieces all locked back into place sort off and because it needed to be sealed as it is on the clean air side of the filter we sealed it up with 100mph tape inside and out
All clean inside no damage
Not long, actually less than 2 kms we come to the next tree down and this was a hell of an obstacle as the hill was so steep the bike kept tipping and wouldn’t stop sliding down the hill
After a while we left the Navigation route and went exploring.
I came across this hill and without thinking started up it. It was steep bloody steep as the pictures show by the angles of the trees etc. I didn’t crash or drop it, I baulked and ran out of balls I guess. I didn’t know where it went and didn’t think I could ride a 200kilo bike down it. The boys came up and helped me turn it aroundCrash looking at the hill, see me up there
See by the tree angles how steep it is
Crash walking up
Warning there maybe some bad words used
Bring this ride on :woohoo: after some tree cutting and track clearing :pinch:
Remember keep reading the first post page 1
