I was watching lotsa’s spot and saw it stop yesterday and read through this thread and was a bit surprised to see there wasn’t any news, when there wasn’t I texted him and got a reply straight away.

I guess I should have known that TB, mickp, gavb and others would be in the know but wasn’t sure.

Hope it all goes well for lotsa now ….

Well I got home all good albeit a little damp  (must ring Steve from Adv Moto and order a new Jacket)
Thanks to TB, PTW, Amy, Crash and Strucky for the organising and sweeping of the ride. Dejay and the other support/recovery crews. I am sorry if I have left anyone out. Thanks to Eags and Wolfie for their efforts on communications and liason from home while we are all out riding and enjoying ourselves. Thanks to Steve from Adventure Moto, Peter Payne from Yamaha and Clubby from Trailzone Magazine for their continued support of these rides and others similar. I am sorry if I have left anyone out but TB will be able to cover this.
Sorry to come across Lotsa laying on the ground after his incident :( , it is never good to see a fellow rider down, I have been their myself, not pleasant. Rest up and get well soon mate ;) Well done to all involved in getting Lotsa the urgent attention that he required ;) Great Job!
Thanks to the crew that came along our Navigation Learners group and my biggest apologies to James and Usi. It was a missed communication from the start on Saturday and I hope that I can redeem myself on future rides with you guys. I will have more discussions with TB on revising the format with the 1st timers, should I be given this opportunity again, it was great to be involved.

Thanks again everyone, report to come later as I have heaps of photos.

    Cheers,

    Sounds so good!!!!!!!
    Apart for wAYNES GET OFF!!!!!
Lotsa, we will take you back into the fold, man.
    To tell ya truth
On average, we’d be lucky to be covering an average of 20kms/hr
With our new trails, I would say around 13kms/hr

That also equates to no crazy speeds.
    :woohoo: :woohoo: B)

Most the time I fall off is at zero speed
Most the time and reasoning behind my get off, is because of zero speed. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

    To hell with all that
    Rustavision
    Withoutntrippin
May have a little rest now
Catchya’s in a couple of hours
    Cheers

This was my first ride with Old Bulls and I had a marvellous time. I saw more variety of dirt road and track in the one weekend than I’ve managed in many years on my own – and for me a nice mix between the challenging and the relaxing. A big thank you to TB, Amy, Leftie and all those who I didn’t get to meet who put in a fantastic amount of effort to organise two superb days of riding – they even managed to keep the weather gods reasonably under control for most of the weekend. (And with all the rain I got on the way home I won’t even need to wash the evidence of a couple of minor mishaps off the sides of the bike) :)

    All the best

    Well,
Here it is, TB has asked me to start the report off :)
It has already been an eventful afternoon :pinch: A call to me from Plindz around 2.30pm to ask if I can assist with recovering a stranded 990 from Mountain Lagoon Rd. Mr Squiggle`s ride partner`s ride has called it a day (maybe it knows of what`s to come tomorrow)

A few calls back & forth and looks like our good mate Jason Barrett is on the job once again.
I am waiting till Jason finds the guys and puts the offer to them of me driving down tonite to retrieve the bike from Bilpin !!!

Anyway, here are the Spot links for

TB, PTW & FLYING FISH (Leader group)

    CRASH & STRUCKY (Sweeps)

    http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=07QLxADPmunCYIzzZzPll04eysrB9JIyF

All the other groups will be in between these two Spot Trackers anyway.

I will update the situation on the 990 later,, maybe much, much later tonite once all is sorted  B)

    Hi Eags,
Thanks very much for the offer but we managed to get a pickup in my ute from newcastle to save you the hassle but really appreciate the gesture.

Oh and Strucky introduced himself to me and we had a good old chat in the rain at the bottom of Bellbird Hill… could have talked for hours but he had places to be… like home ;)

    Hi Guys & Girls
just an update on Waynes (Lotsa) condition

I spoke to him last night and he was in good spirits and would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and said he would try to post up when he can.

As you know he has broken ribs, punctured lung, spleen and some kidney damage. They are doing some more scans/tests today to see how he is progressing.

He also asked to thank all those that helped him at the scene.

We are lucky to live in a country with good emergency services as the the ambos were on the scene in about 50 mins with the helicopter loaded with doctors not far behind. Wayne had a 10min flight to Orange hospital and it took us 3 hours by the the most direct route to get back to Orange.

    Good vids Squiggles

certainly brings back some sphincter clenching cussing moments along Eskdale Rd. :(

We went in the opposite direction last year on our way home from the Birthday ride weekend when it was pea soup fog, rain and roos everywhere

    Definitely a memorable weekend

Thanks again to TB, Flying fish, PTW, Strucky, Crash, all the support crew and sponsors for organising the weekends ride.

Following is a couple of short clips of the muddy hill and the second of the steep decents in the logging area. The first decent was a bit steeper but both were fun! Not much happens on the tail end of the video :)

Just cruising through the report seeing as though I saw a few of you blokes a few weeks back when I was loading on the trailer.
Any way all the best Lotsa and have a speedy recovery mate, had a few near misses with roos but no livestock luckily.

    Cheers

Two Legends, left Steve “Wolfman, let me in the car” Smith and Stephen Gall. BTW Stephen Gall is the most humble, nicest guy I have ever spoken with a true gentlemen in every sense of the word as Boulder said he is. Oh and I followed him on the 1200 through the pine singles and guess what? He can ride, very smooth. Video to follow
