Having run Pirelli MT21 combo the past couple of sets, I am ready to try something different on the 690

Plan to do similar rides that I have done lately (60% dirt 40% blacktop) or there about, but also still enjoy the usual Watagan, Yengo loops too where good grip is sometimes a must .
Dunlops seem to get good reviews & mileage and DOT approval is a must as I commute regularly ,,,,

D908 rear maybe with a different front ???
What other combo`s have proved to be successful ???

    Thanx in advance ;)

Speak with Steve Eags but in my opinion for where and how you ride I reckon

    Front
    MITAS TYRE E-09 DAKAR – 90/90-21

    Rear
    MEFO DUAL-SPORT, SUPER EXPLORER REAR – 140/80-18

Yeah, that combo sound and looks pretty good ;) Thanx
I liked the look of the E09 front but was unsure on the rear after the reports on them,,,,,

I will save up after Easter then `cause the Mefo`s are dearer than I would normally fork out

Hopefully I can get a good deal B)

Speak with Steve he maybe over stocked

There isn’t anything wrong with the E09 rears, the problem on the Camerons ride was they ran the tyre under pressure scoring a flat, damaging the rim and riding on the tyre when it was flat overheating the case.I am running one on the cape trip this year they are a good thing. I ran one around the high country last April was awesome
