So TB Have you Mothballed the 650 ? seems you are riding the Kato more than ever
I reckon the MXretreads go great on that stuff at Sunny Corner and guaranteed not to throw knobs ! but I dont want to get in a tyre bashing debate. The MX51 Geomax also go alright I reckon.

Nah Ollie it will be there also it’s in project mode
I think Spuds taking it for a ride up at Sunny corner and I will ride it on the Sunday
Yeah we don’t want a tyre bash thread, but I leave you with this thought. For a tyre to throw a knob the knob has to get traction hasnt it? Think about it. I agree a MXretread won’t chuck a knob

May 21, 2012 at 12:39 am #222200I really don’t think it matters what tyre you run at Sunny Corner, if you ride hard and fast over that rocky crap then the tyre is going to cop a thrashing.

May 21, 2012 at 12:53 am #222201Most of the tyres out now are made with a synthetic rubber compound and more than likely come from Brazil, Indonesia and or China (dont believe me,go check it out) the MXRetreads use the highest quality natural rubber and made right here in Australia by a perfectionist (Mark Bearman)
Im with rocket if you cant get a wheel spinning up or throwing it sideways with the throttle wide open cause your scared about tyre wear ,may as well take up riding push bikes

Ive still got some in the shed, but probably wont be placing any more orders. People can get tyres for under $85 I sell the retreads for $75 and I havnt got the time any more due to my new job. I still recommend them to people tho.
